Over the weekend our team member Sian, along with her sister and Dad, got to experience a flying lesson with Waikato Aviation. Sian’s sister, Helen, won this experience as a spot prize at the Run the Runway event last year. We had a group of 16 of our Thomsons team plus families attend the event last March in support of Waikato Rotary Club.
Reflecting on her flight, Helen said she was nervous about the wind but had a great experience and was made to feel completely at ease by the team at Waikato Aviation. A big thankyou to those who sponsored the event and to Waikato Aviation for allowing Sian’s family to experience this flight. Check out their photos of the day below.
